The Site Analysis

A template for different landscaping ideas

The site analysis is now created to compile the collected information into visual form.

Use a combination of the interview, site survey, plot plan and utilities to draw a rough, notated sketch to visualize the benefits, challenges and details that were discovered. Graph paper can be helpful to preserve scale.

Before writing on the site analysis it may be helpful to stop and make a few copies of the blank site sketch. These can be helpful in the coming steps so different concepts and ideas will each have a fresh drawing to work on and it won't be necessary to redraw the basic site sketch each time.
